The company

Astrology is one of the few categories where most Indian readers would rather not use English, and one where most software makes them anyway. Menus get localised, the predictions stay translated, and the typography breaks on anything that is not Latin script. Astrolife started as an attempt to fix that properly.

The result is one product released as a separate app per language, each written and typeset for its own reading audience, sharing a single chart engine underneath. We handle the whole stack ourselves — the calculation layer, the language content, the Android apps, the payment flow and the support inbox.

How we work

• Ship the calculation correctly first, then make it look right.
• Write for each language rather than translating into it.
• Let people read a real sample before asking them to pay.
• Keep the codebase small enough that one person can hold it in their head.
